Poznaj Business English

Dziś przygotowaliśmy dla Was 2 przydatne słówka angielskie. Chcielibyśmy pokazać Wam różnicę między nimi.
Są one szczególnie często spotykane w biznesie.

  • economical- providing good service or value in proportion to the amount of money and time spent; inexpensive
  • economic- relating to trade, industry and the development of wealth

Choć wydają się być niemal identyczne, te dwa słowa diametralnie różnią się znaczeniem. Słowo economical tak jak w języku polskim „ekonomiczny” oznacza coś opłacalnego – usługę lub towar o wysokim współczynniku ceny do jakości.

Economic – można również przetłumaczyć jako ekonomiczny, jednak stanowi cechę rzeczy, przypisanie jej do gospodarki i ekonomii. np. wskaźnik ekonomiczny.

e.g.
The world is now in a bad economic state.
This is a very economical plan.
